Introduced at the GM Motorama in New York in 1953, the Chevrolet Corvette has become known as “America’s Sports Car.” In that first year of production, only 300 units were produced, each in polo white with red interior and a black convertible top. Now in its eight generation, the Corvette has been in continuous production ever since.
